This Monday, January 31st I will be having my next monthly constituent coffee at the French Quarter Café located at 5540 Wallings Road in North Royalton from 6pm to 8pm. LAST WEEK IN YOUR SCHOOL BOARD
On January 25th the North Royalton School District was given some tragic news. One of our ninth grade students Stephanie Edmison passed away during the night in her sleep. Preliminary reports suggest complications from heart arrhythmia. Counselors and support staff were available at NRHS and will remain available to assist students with their feelings and reactions due to this tragedy. I ask you to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Below is the obituary with information on the calling hours and funeral service if you are interested.
Stephanie R. Edmison, Age 14 of North Royalton; beloved daughter of Lee III and Debra (nee Hugland); loving sister of Justin, Samantha and Lee IV; dear granddaughter of Lee, Jr. and Rosemary Edmison and Kenneth and Joanne Hugland; niece and friend of many. Passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Prayers at the funeral home, Monday, January 31, 2011 at 9:00am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Parish, 1088 Ridge Road, Hinckley, 44233 at 10:00am. Entombment at Hope Memorial Gardens, Hinckley. On January 27th I volunteered at the Second Annual Taste of Broadview Heights. It was a great fun filled evening with a variety of delicious local food samples from 15 different restaurants. The event was sponsored by the Broadview Heights Community Foundation, for more information about the foundation you can check out their website at www.bvhcommunityfoundation.org. I had a great to time at the event and it was great meet Broadview Heights Constituents who live in the North Royalton School Districts! Also special thanks to the Broadview Heights Community Foundation for doing such a great event and the work that they do for the Broadview Heights Community!
