Board Update

Good Afternoon:

Good news Spring is only a few weeks away…..

LAST WEEK IN YOUR SCHOOL BOARD

I attended the City Earth Energy Environment Committee Meeting on March 1st. The committee discussed the city’s recycling program and solar energy financing.

Policy Committee met on March 3rd and we discussed the March policy updates that will be up for a vote at the March Regular School Board Meeting.

The Board met on March 3rd for its’ Work Session. The Board reviewed the March Regular Meeting agenda items, and other matters that were before the Board.

THIS WEEK IN YOUR SCHOOL BOARD

This week the Board has its March Regular School Board Meeting on Monday March 8th at 7pm in the North Royalton High School Community Room; located at 14713 Ridge Rd. North Royalton, OH 44133.

The Wellness Committee will be meeting this week on Wednesday, March 10th at 2pm at the Board Office Conference Rm.

North Royalton City Schools SCENE
What is SCENE? School Community Exchange Night for Education is an informal opportunity for questions and answers about our North Royalton City Schools. The next meeting will be held on March 31st at 7pm at the Early Childhood Center—Building #17 9543 Broadview Rd., Broadview Heights; hosted by Early Childhood Center Principal Julie Bogden and Superintendent Ed Vittardi.

Monthly Coffee with Dan Langshaw, North Royalton School Board Member
If you are a constituent living in the North Royalton School District, you are
invited to attend my next monthly constituent coffee on March. 14th at the French Quarter Café located at 5540 Wallings Road from 12pm to 2pm. I hold these coffees in order to stay in touch with fellow residents and listen to their feedback. There is no appointment necessary. Simply stop by and talk to me. If you have specific questions about the district or for our Superintendent Ed Vittardi then please come to a School Community Exchange Night for Education meeting instead of my Monthly Coffees. SCENE meetings are designed to allow the community a chance to ask questions and to get specific answers regarding the district in a large group setting. My Monthly Coffees are for listening to residents on a one-on-one bases and not for a large Q & A session in which the SCENE is for. If you have any questions, please contact me at 440-785-4240 or email me at dan.langshaw@northroyaltonsd.org

Have a great week!
